Netzsch 429 TGA/DTA

10/15/2007 12:13 PM

Netzsch 429 TGA/DTA.

Here at our lab we "inherited" an "early 80's" vintage machine with associated controls & data aquistion instrumentation. We purchased the system from Laurentian University for cad$1.00 - what a deal! (it'll cost 250G's to get it operating)

We decided to gut & abandon the controls & instrumentation and completly rebuild and run the three selective rotation furnaces on the 429 based on an industrial WindowsXP platform.

Does anyone have any or much experience on rebuilding such the same or similar equipment? This is a first time for myself. Any advice appreciated.

One company I know that can help you to rebuild the system is Linseis Thermal Analysis. http://www.linseis.net.
