the brake and acceleration system ot the automobiles.

10/15/2007 8:10 PM

I need to know the whole brake system as connected in most of the cars. How the brake paddle is connected to the brake master cylinders? for example the brake paddle is connected to say a rod. then where and how this rod is connected ? and so on.

I also need to know the whole accelerating system. I want to know where and how the paddle rod is connected as it reaches to the injector system or the carburetor of the vehicle.

what are the brake and accelerating system of most of the present vehicles?

You asked this twice and as you are slow in understanding, it gives me great pleasure to reply you again as:

Dismantle your Dad's car part by part till you trace "How the brake paddle is connected to the brake master cylinders". Next for example, the brake paddle is connected to say a rod. then trace as to where and how this rod is connected. Next proceed further till you know the whole accelerating system. Next where and how the paddle rod is connected as it reaches to the injector system or the carburetor of the vehicle. Press accelerator paddle till the petrol is injected by the injector system then light a match to see clearly HOW the match ignites the fire. Finally write us back your experience and thank me for taking the pain in teaching you.

Also thank your Dad after the sound whacking he gives you.

Wow i love his jack stand.

Is it OSHA approved?

Makes you wonder what they used to get the car on its side to begin with.

Maybe he cheated on his girl friend and she did this to get even.

Perhaps you are being too technical in your reply.

The brake pedal is connected to a rod that rubs on the bottom of the tire pushing it backwards, causing the car to try to go backwards when it is going forward. This makes the car stop. The other pedal is connected to the top of the tire causing it to roll forward. All the transmission does is switch the positions of the rods.

Hows that?

No, no, no. The atmospheric pressure going back up the tailpipe is what makes it stop. The pedal just lets it in.

I never knew this. I was thinking of fuel injectors and computers and discs and master cylinders and it is really that simple.Huh.

Just to make it look complex, so you call a ''specialist''.

Same thing applies to your inner-workings...

Have you ever looked at the workings or a real car or is it all learned from books and blogs?

I think that the question you have in mind is "Why are regenerative braking systems not used in automobiles?" The answer is that the non-trivial power for the automotive engine is from the internal combustion system,.and the electrical portion is indeed supplied by a parasitic (regenerative) system, i.e. the alternator/magneto system. Ideally an electric car could be launched by pushing it downhill with all waste energy being used to recharge the batteries ( after all, an electric motor can be thought of as an electrical generator wired backwards). It seems like a neat idea, but the wheels tend to fall off when it gets to the real world. Google "perpetual motion machines". Sorry to rain on your parade - experience seems to show that Newton was right

Chilton. or other.

SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND!

Haynes? You gotta be kidding. They shoulda called it Haynies how to make your car repair problems even worse. These manuals are very good...examples of the worst in technical writing...and illustration...and editing. But they're often good for a laugh.

Braking is to break the motion.

You should go and read some books. If you ask such questions, you will be laughed at by many and for long time.

Some people would be very kind to answer and few will guide you thru but some will ridicule you. So be careful what you ask.

The questions are asked and responded by qualified people and we all want to help each other as no on knows every thing so we supplement each other..
