Why can't you dudes be more specific if you want a right answer?

Are you talking about Flame photocells in a Burner System?

Flame photocells are used only in oil-fired burners (UV in Gas ) in place of Flame Rods to sense the pilot flame and indicate the Burner Flame Safeguard Relay/Programmer to switch on the Main Burner Valve. If there is no sensing of flame of pilot burner the system trips and re-started after purging to safeguard against burner back-fire/explosion.
