And, I didn't answer your other question about analyses other than static. Depends on your license and I cannot remember how that works - talk to your VAR.

but i ve been trying to register at eng-tips for almost a year now. all i get is an error message, and if i try contacting an admin or someone, they dont get back to me. I ve made like 8 acounts for 8 emails with no success.

So, make a simple model. Go to CosmosWorks and try to do a study. If you see only static as a choice, that is the limitation of your license.

The absolute best way I found out how to use SW (way back in 2003/4) was Help -> Tutorials after that, with no formal education on Solid modeling, those who have done the courses come to me for help ;o)
