What do we understand by 'pit marking standard' for overhead transmission line?

Good luck understanding the units.

Stating of units in table is good engineering practice and using SE conform units helps most readers to understand context.

The use of"M" for what most likely is meant to be "m" as in Meter is not promising.

What's more a problem is the columns without units.

Yes, the accompanying text will have to be read to understand that table.

Pit marking is part of the long and detailed process of erecting transmission towers....

"After the location marking (see step 3) has been done, the marking of the pits for excavation for the foundation is done. Each pit and foundation is specific to the type of tower to be erected at that location. Angle of deviation (See Glossary 5) for each tower must be compared with the profile sheet. Pits must be free from excess soil after excavation. Clearing of any trees etc. near the foundations is required."...
