TED Talks Video: EZ Water

02/23/2020 9:40 AM

Here is an interesting video from TED talks.

I will not bias the comments with my opinions, but I think it is worthwhile to view it with an open mind. Feedback is always welcome.

A certain frequency drives all of the creatures out of the swamp.

Is someone playing the Trumpet?

There are more than 4 states of water, but none of them have anything to do with absorbing light.

https://ergodic.ugr.es/termo/lecciones/water1.html

In addition, liquid water consists of H2O molecules connected together in clumps by hydrogen bond attraction. As water is heated the clumps become smaller. The energy required to break up these clumps accounts for the high specific heat of water compared with other substances.

How much energy can we get from light versus from food? A comparison might have made this more interesting.

Who voted that OT, and on what possible grounds?

The basal metabolic rate of a human is about 1,300-1,500 kcal/day for an adult female and 1,600-1,800 kcal/day for an adult male.

The average energy striking the Earth's surface is about 1kw per square meter.

This should answer your question,if further explanation is required, let me know.

That's all very nice, and even within the realm of common knowledge. (Well, maybe.) However, the light energy depends on whether the sun is shining straight down on someone's head (~ 0.05 m2?) versus prone body (~ 0.5 m2?), and also how much of this energy is converted to useful mechanical work versus just heat.

All of your questions can be answered by google,if you take the time and effort to research them;or do you prefer that someone else do the work for you;a sort of dependency on the efforts of others. You seem intent on nit picking rather than contributing constructively to the discussion.

He said "Free Energy" multiple times. I'd call BS on this.

I would like to know exactly what causes this separation of charges?

Is this charge-separation present on a galactic scale?

Normally opposite charges attract.

How thick is the boundary in proportion to the light energy received?

Is it really as efficient as solar panels?

He seems to indicate about 50% of the light energy is converted, which would be better than solar panels currently.

How about the influence of the infrared from body heat?

The body itself is a great source of infrared,so is it partially recycled by this effect?

Lots of questions that need lots of answers.

I am hoping someone on this forum can provide some more details.

I should know better than to reply to anything before my coffee kicks in.

I should have read the link #4 by Idea Smith before commenting.

The link explains a lot. Thanks I.S.!Ga from me.

In spite of this fraudster, there does seem to be some empirical evidence for the benefit of distilled water.

A friend of mine smoked continuously,a chain smoker.

He would use one cigarette to light the next one.The ceiling tiles in his office were brown from nicotine. They were originally white.

He believed in distilled water benefits.

He was a water plant operator, and he explained it like this:

Processed water,or domestic well water was full of minerals, which is not all bad,but they fill up all of the spaces between the water molecules, making it less able to dissolve other things, like contaminates in the body.

Distilled water has plenty of room to absorb contaminates from your body and that is what he always drank.

He said that it absorbed more toxins from the body and passed them out as body waste.

I let his theories go in one ear and out the other.

I didn't see him for about 30 years,figured he was deceased,but I saw him,still kicking,still smoking like a coal fired train.He was 85 years old,and was very spry;moved like a young man.

He died at the age of 101 and not from lung failure, but from heart failure at the gym.

I know heredity has a lot to do with longevity, and there are exceptions to every rule.

And this guy was really an exceptional variant.

Take this for what it's worth="0"?

A sample size of one is statistically insignificant but very often makes the most interesting story.

In one line of your post, you say, "I let his theories go in one ear and out the other." That's not true, because here you are bringing them up again.

Also, you are the one who introduced this topic for consideration by open minds, but now you are saying "this fraudster." I don't see how he is a fraudster, but I doubt that he's on to very much. I asked for some quantitative info, but some jerk voted that OT (later neutralized by someone else, but not recanted by the voter).

I begin all inquiries with an open mind, considering various options.
That does not mean that I cannot form an opinion after due consideration,it simply means that I am open to inputs from all sides.
It does not mean that I cannot form an opinion after sufficient input;hence I have concluded that the subject of my original post is a mere snake oil salesman.
I am still open to all feedback, and I have no ego-equity in my opinions.
As for recalling an earlier incident,I had an open mind initially and listened to all of his claims, letting them pass through without forming an opinion.
That is my definition of an open mind.
After seeing him years later,I began to wonder if I had missed something initially, but soon forgot about it until I saw his obit.
I know that a one time incident cannot define a trend,it could be a mere anomaly, but still,I wonder, and my mind is still open for feedback on this and any other topic.

Being completely full of holes, like Swiss cheese, does not really constitute an open mind.

Sorry to hear about your sCJD disease.

That explains a lot about all of your answers.

If I had known I would have gone easier on you.

I hope you get well soon.
