Detonation Engine Tested

Air Force Research has developed a working detonation engine.

This will propel rockets, using much less fuel

If this engine can provide Single Stage to Orbit (SSTO), it's a really big deal.

That was my first thought too. As it is SSTO is a white elephant, but this could change that.
