ROTORK IQ25 & IQ20

06/20/2020 10:55 PM

Hi All,

I have both iq20 & iq25,

Iq20 has almost damaged control parts of it. And the iq25 recently got its motor winding damaged.

Can I switch the motor from iq20 to iq25?

Will it cause a trouble?

Also, when I try to open the iq20, the Jack screw threads have got damaged. Suggest me some other idea to open the control panel cover.

Well first I would contact the company to see if there is a way to get them rebuilt, and how much it would cost...then I might offer to trade the two of them for one that worked...or I might look for someone locally that repairs these type valves and see what kind of deal could be struck...I might get them both rebuilt and try to sell one to pay for the rebuilds....

The better solution would be to order replacement parts from the manufacturer, and change like for like.

Of greater significance is preventing recurrence. What’s happening about that, please?
