Motor testing

To ALL,

Testing a Universal motor use for home appliances such as blender and others with power ranging 200W to 600W;

A. What is the standard distance of sound meter from motor and sound level in dB include atmosphere noise.

B. How to determine the minimum and maximum power of motor that will pass the machine testing according to international standard.

C. What is the standard procedure of testing motor without load and with load (work time,rest time.temperature)

One can usually rely on the manufacturer to supply a motor that conforms to their published characteristics, and it is these data that are used in the selection process.

The noise coming from a motor is largely dependent upon the acoustics of the surroundings and the nature of whatever the motor is driving. Were it to be a car-crusher, for example, the noise of the motor would be largely swamped by that coming from the crushing equipment.
