TESTING OF CRANES

WHETHER LIGHT WEIGHT HOT (HAND OPERATED TRACTION) CRANES ARE TESTED FOR DEFLECTION TESTS. IF SO PREVAILING CODES MAY BE MENTIONED.

YES EVERY CRANE WHETHER IT IS HOT OR COLD YOU MUST TEST FOR DEFLECTION AFTER ALL IT IS OPERATED BY HUMAN BEING SO FOR THE SAFETY IT SHOULD BE TESTED. I DONT NO ABOUT CODES.

AS YOU MENTIONED, I NEVER HEARD ANY COLD CRANE . HOT STANDS FOR HAND OPERATED TRACTION CRANE.
