You have to mention distance between two computers , if they are in close proximity , you can have bluetooth wireless access between theses two , wireless LAN , wireless USB modem for greater distances , you can search for more detail information from PC magzines , internet..? , most of the computer shops do help in such matters..provided you give them orders.......

you are interested in wireless seperated by 3m or 10ft and you don`t want wired network that is very cheap or free you can start from junk , you did not mention your system specs of both PCs , i have not tried or even attempted the IR port that is present or was there in older PCs , but it can work in LAN for data access is not known to me , these were for IR devices for interfacing with , whatever it is you will need some medium of conversion between two PCs whether wired or wireless , if it is inbuild look out for these devices , look out junk market nearby you and get those devices instali them properly with your system , what kind of "more information" are you looking at

"3mts" means 3 meters? "so i need to go from junk" meaning minimum cost?

Lan cable requires a Lan card in each computer and a short length of Lan cable.

A wireless router requires also a compatible card in second machine.

In either case the higher the speed the higher the cost.

Don't know of any junk substitute for above suggestions for high speed connection of 2 PC's.

3 mts? 3 mountains?

Serial communication with FM transmitter and receiver. If they're in line of sight, you can use a laser to communicate.

If its only 3 meters and not 3 mountains, then a USB cable should do the job (assuming that your PCs have USB.....cheap and assuming 2.0 and not 1.1, very fast!!! and nobody can overhear you as they can with any form of wireless including Bluetooth!!.

If you have no USB ports, they can be bought on ebay for less than €10 each!! plus postage!

hello everyone,

my requirement was, we have 6 different production blocks each seperated by distance of about 150mts, we wanted to have a wireless TCP/IP communication between them, we have Client PCs running in these block which share process parameters with a common server PC in an other location about 500mts away
