Wish I could say the same. I got a phone call about 5 minutes ago to sell me an extended warranty on my car for about the 20th time. After all the promises to get rid of robocalls, there has not been much if any improvement.

Tell them your car is a '49 Plymouth Mayflower.. they hang up and loose your number pretty quick.

It was spam alright, but the unsalted kind. Both kinds make me gag.

...you know your traffic is low when the spam won't even bother to drop in.

Actually, I don't know about anybody else, but I have to keep clicking the Captcha thing from time to time to navigate around the site. It's a little annoying but if it keeps the spammers and spambots at bay, then I'm all for it.

As for the computer, I don't get spam now that I have changed to the free version of Protonmail.com. The occasional one in the spam folder is a good message that ended up there. I have a VPN enabled and use Duck Duck Go as the search engine. I'm using Adblock plus to keep advertisements off the screen. Clicking down the popup that says you have a blocker is worth it to keep the ads away. I'm much happier now.

I help run a few small internet groups, and it's like whack-a-mole. That's with nowhere near the traffic here, so I totally second that comment - I would like to take time to congratulate our team for their extraordinary work in keeping Cr4 spam free. Great job all of you.

Few days ago I had a call to remind me I had spent £1000 on a new iPhone. After some deliberation, I decided not to press button 1 to let them know I hadn't. I really miss the old days when it was a person, rather than message, that I could mess with. Pleasure of the day was seeing how long I could keep them hooked.

Sad reflection of times, but the Covid situation really has drawn some slime from under their rocks to take advantage of people.

Not happy I missed the hilarity of a 'male organ enhancement' one. Likely a renowned international expert with umpteen credentials. That's what the last one told me.
