Cookie Export

01/25/2021 8:24 AM

Do you hate cookies?

The kind that get through all of your filters?

Ship them off to another user.

Copy and past all of your cookies, and send them to someone else, preferably in another country.

Replace your cookies with the other party's cookies.

This will make them useless.

Keep the relevant ones if they have value to you.

No, that's not a good idea...

"Clear, enable, and manage cookies in Chrome

You can choose to delete existing cookies, allow or block all cookies, and set preferences for certain websites.

What cookies are

Cookies are files created by websites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing information. With cookies, sites can keep you signed in, remember your site preferences, and give you locally relevant content.

There are two types of cookies:

  • First-party cookies are created by the site you visit. The site is shown in the address bar.
  • Third-party cookies are created by other sites. These sites own some of the content, like ads or images, that you see on the webpage you visit."...

I hardly worry about what companies on the Internet do with my cookies. It doesn't seem to matter, they can track your Internet use regardless. You only have to think about buying a new alternator and suddenly in that ad next to your email is someone trying to sell you an alternator. I'm over that.

What I worry about is the death of freedom of speech.

I'm not so sure that anybody and everybody should be given a pulpit without earning it first....Publishers back in the day would sometimes publish controversial works, but if nobody was buying it, then it died on the vine....Would you give a child molester unfettered access to your children?...Evil exists in the world and whether political or just morally bereft, I don't want to have them smearing s*** all over the internet...It devalues the content...as a company, content provider platforms owe it to the public that use their platform to set some standard of quality....If the s*** slingers want to communicate they can print leaflets and hand them out on street corners like the rest of the bums....Maintaining morally decent content is a public obligation...Having said all that, political censoring should be illegal...last I heard equal time was the rule of the day, in other words so much time is given to both sides equally.....If you censor one, you must censor the other as well...beating somebody with their hands tied behind their back is a cowardly mob rule tactic...

IMHO:(to which a person is still presently entitled)

The press has been doing that for years to reinforce their agenda.

The bias of the press is obvious to any person without their own personal agenda.

The main publications express the ideology of their owners.

Dissenting views are not welcome or published.

They are deleted or get the famous File 13.

Everyone in entitled to their opinion, but only the select can express it publicly without censure ship.

I am an independent in politics.I do not vote along party lines.

I vote for the person, not the party.

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.---"A quote from Alexander Tyler who was a Scottish History Professor at the University of Edinburgh, said this about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2000 years earlier.

It is just as true today as it was then.

I see parallels today with Aldus Huxley's Brave new world, where everyone is a slave, but they enjoy it and the illusion of freedom.

The B N W is in it's infancy, but it is evolving, and will eventually devour the breast from which it feeds.

Most anyone of my age will not see the final stage of this ,but I can see the writing on the wall.

I wonder if this opinion will be edited or deleted?
