Work = Force * Distance and can be done in any time space.

Power = Force * Distance / Time and must be done in a stated Time frame.

The same amount of work done in 1 Minute or 1 Hour would require a lot

more Power for the 1 Minute time frame.

Let's not forget political power, the ability to get someone to do something you want done.
