You Might Be an Engineer, If…

02/24/2006 9:05 AM

Welcome to a "sneak peek" article from the March edition of the Networking & Communications newsletter from GlobalSpec.

Almost no one walks around with pocket protectors anymore, so how can you tell if someone is an engineer? L. Robert Smith, past president of the Providence Engineering Society, shares his thoughts on this weighty question. Anyone who recycles mouthwash has something important to teach.

C'mon..it's funny...

I like the 2 dishwasher idea. If my husband lived alone, he definitely could use this system, but together, we're too social. We have 6 people in out household as the default, and I rotate the dining chairs to even out the wear and stainage caused by different members of the family. What's so weird about that?

Now I know for sure - I rotate everything - the chairs, towels, laundry, produce - even my kids know what it means to 'rotate the asparagus'. And I thought I just had OCD...
