Fantastic Plastic 3-D Tour

02/25/2006 11:06 AM

Welcome to a "sneak peek" article from the March edition of Plastics & Resins Report from GlobalSpec.

Explaining the injection molding process to grammar school students is as effective as doing it in another language. Fortunately, the Fantastic Plastic Tour animates in 3D such processes as compression molding, vacuum forming, and injection molding, among others. The Web site has not yet updated all the processes, but it does provide an overview of how each plastics process works.
