Hello Garthh,

"6.Where is the mail client?

Firefox 2 works with whatever mail client is the default on your system. However, we recommend Mozilla Thunderbird, our next-generation email client and the perfect complement to Firefox."

Have a look here:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/releasenotes/

It's on that page above....

However, why don't you use a far better pair of Email Clients:

MailwasherPro from:

http://www.mailwasher.net/

Use Mailwasher Pro as your Primary defence against Spam, Malware and the like..... then use:

Pegasus Email Client, as your Email Software, get it free from here:

http://www.pmail.com/

Mailwasher has a free version, (less facilities, but you can learn it easily), and no Malware.

Pegasus is extremely powerful, most secure too, free and no Malware.

Both invented in New Zealand, that is not why I use them, but I use them because they are secure and the best.....

Regards.

I had a number of ISP accounts for mail locally, in addition to Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo etc.

But in the Spam-loaded environment, a lot of spam in "IN-Box";

so you have to go on-line to remove & download the rest of mail to PC.

But it may be that your genuine mail is in "Trash" due to "filters" of Mail-server you can't remove.

Incredimail [ registered] can Inbox, without going to the Server, but cannot reach other folders.

If you are in search of better facillities you may try as follow, all are Free

Mail Clients I am using:

------------------------

Try:

Installer

Incredimail Free Edition Or registered

Incredimail lets you take full control over what your emails look like. Select from hundreds of email backgrounds that fit any mood or occasion. The people you send IncrediMail emails to don't need to download anything in order to see these backgrounds!

Stand-Alone

http://www.koma-code.de/

Koma-Mail is an email client which is comfortable and has very handy functions. Koma-Mail does not need an installation and your accounts can very easily be recreated through a backup. So, in contrast to other email clients, you do not have to make your settings all over again in case you lose all you data.

Hope of any help !
