Pipeline Construction Contractor

In Oil & Gas industry, the terminology "Front End Engineering Designing" covers the work after christmas tree. That includes - designing of wellhead piping, instrumentations, size of piping, stress analysis of process piping, type of supports, anchors, flow line, size, control and preperation of technical specification etc. Back End Engineering is Construction. In other industry it may be different.

For any Oil & Gas project, the engineering is divided into two main principals :

1. Basic Engineering, to include PFD, P&ID : process design, pipe sizing, controlling, instrumentation, mass and heat balance, and HAZOP.

2. Detailed Engineering, to include design drawings: Plot Plans, Routing and Layouts, GA's and Sectional drawings, Isometrics and Spools, Supporting, Stress Analysis, ... etc.
