Block an entire IP address?

Email is so 1990s. It is surprising that anyone uses it any more.

What do you use?

The number of spam-free options has increased of late. Given the popularity of spam by spam-senders over email, and the cover-the-a$$ tendency in email within organisations, any of these others will do.

It is not unknown for people to even talk to each other these days. Particularly people that trust each other.

I am so 1940's.

I still have a flip phone with a handle on the side you have to crank to get the operator in Mt Pilot to put you through.

Your ISP is recording every site you visit and how long you have been there. They construct a profile on you. Then they sell your profile to 100 or more profile marketing libraries.....these are the largest data banks in the world. And you get spam.

The solution is NOT to block addresses. Your only solution is to prevent your ISP from recording you.

VPN. I have use one for over 10 years. I use thunderbird. And I hardly ever get junk mail anymore. Because no one knows what sites I go to. And no one knows my vices. Or interest.

A few bucks a month for peace of mind.

Oh, one other thing. After using VPN, never sign up or give out your email to more than one site per week. This way you can tell if your email address was sold.....you will get new spam. With a VPN, one has old spam and one has new spam. You can tell were the new spam came from.
