Switching Professions

12/13/2007 12:06 AM

Hi..

I am a mechanical engineer working with an MEP contractor in middle east as piping engineer for refineries / petrochemical industries. I would like to switch my profession to process engineering where I wud be involved with the conceptual design of a petrochemical or refinery plant

For that could some one please tell me how to go about, is there any formal training imparted by any acredited institution?

Contact the Institution of Chemical Engineers, in Rugby, England, and go from there. They do have a website.

Hello Biju,

Come to Canada Calgary they will take you almost as is and perhaps some paid training could be also given by the hiring company. So please take off to the WEST.

Its all happening here.

Hi jess

it sounds very tempting...but how to make it.... i really wish its not thru those umpteen number of travel agencies ( or i dunno what is the terminology used to call those guys who arrange for immigration) sitting in middle east as well as Indian market who provide these service for a huge sum of money

Is there any other ways and means of ding it, like approaching directly with the companies who can sponsor???

Pls advice
