Please supply more information. What size is the carton and what does it weigh? Where does it go from packing? Does it need to be cased? palletized? directly to a warehouse? directly to a truck? The answers could range from having an operator manually stack on a pallet for shrink wrap to a fork-truck moving it into a warehouse to a robotic palletizer/wrapper combo. Be very specific about what need to be done to the package after it leaves the line and we can try to give you an answer.

There are robotic systems that can do this. I worked for a while as service manager for a company called Interstrap Packaging Systems. Check them out on the web; they are Mfr. reps and deal machines such as Lantech and others.

The other post is correct - You need to supply more specific information to receive a realistic answer to your question.

There are several types of machines to divert product from the main production line. And depending on the needs of your company, you will have to decide which would be best for your application.

If you need to sort product to many shipping doors, then a sorter would be needed. There are shoe sorters, 90 degree belt-driven sorters, pneumatic/hydraulic pusher-style sorters....etc

Please help us help you by supplying more information

The company I work for manufactures the machinery used in produce packinghouses.

We manufacture Sizers, Packing tables, Place packers, Box fillers, Pelletizers, Bin Dumps, Bin washers, Bin Stackers, Bin Destackers, Baggers, Strappers, Various conveyor systems, Box elevators.

What kind of cartons are you talking about? What is the product?

A palletizer might be what you are looking for. We can build the palletizer to meet your needs. You would have to talk to one of our sales representatives to see if we can meet your needs, especially if it's for something other then produce. We specialize in the produce but moving and stacking boxes is part of the process and that can be modified to your specifications. Boxes and cartons for produce come in many different sizes that range from Blueberries to watermelons.

Let me know and I'll get you in touch with someone in our sales department.

I just spoke to my production manager about this and he said to send you over to:

Denny Bilton - Sales Manager Ph#559-897-2905 x. 105 email: dbilton@mafindustries.com

or

David Mills - Assistant Sales Manager PH#559-897-2905 x. 134 email: dmills@mafindustries.com

Be sure to tell them that Robert Karp referred you.

They will have you fill out a spread sheet with several questions concerning the criteria you require for the machinery.

Or you can give me your contact information and I'll have them contact you.

To see what to do after the production line watch I LOVE LUCY reruns

That will show you how to off-load from a production line, and enjoy it too...

That's how they used to do it.

Companies don't allow employees to graze off the assembly line anymore. It cuts too much into profits.

I guess this guy wasn't all that interested in getting any responses because he hasn't come back.

We could have helped him out and even got a finders fee from the sales department for it.

I am new to this forum but the vagueness of some of the questions boggles my mine.
