Long ago VCM was produced from Acetylene.

Acetylene can be produced from Calcium Carbide -inefficiently-in small quantity.

Large scale VCM is now made from Ethylne/Natural Gas.

Budget--Millions$$

If you want a surplus plant at low budget which was/can produce VCM>>>PVC-- please write me. I will get it-- as a consultant
