Diesel sulphur content

How is it removed and how costly is it to meet the US lowest Diesel fuel exhaust content?

It is not very costly at all anymore, because all the US diesel refiners have pretty much done their ULSD upgrades by now...

Only at the Oil Refinery.

Through extensive Hydrogenation

Better still:--Catalytic Cracking and Then Catalytic hydrogenation-many types.

Do you control a refinery?

Do you head the Air-pollution Control Regime in your Country?

If you are asking as an individual, it is quite costly and an extensive process for hydrogenation of the sulfur to H2S and the separation of the sulfur for recovery via a Claus plant. From the standpoint of a refiner it is not very expensive.
