Producing compost by recycling of MSW

01/01/2008 3:21 AM

I need anyone to help me carring out this study. I want to make a complete study about Producing compost by recycling of MSW. I generally know the machinery and equipment used in that project, these are: belt conveyors, slicers, magnetic belt, rotary screens, vibrating screens, loaders, turning machines, presses, weighers...etc.

I want to know the exact sequence of the process and equipment used in each.

I want to know no. of each equipment and specifications and companies to supply those equipments. Condider the capacity is 20 tons/day.

The MSW in question here is Municipal Solid Wastes.

You can find out everything you need to know, including composting of MSW, at this website: http://www.epa.gov/epaoswer/non-hw/muncpl/

Download the GlobalSpec toolbar, and then use this to search engineering sites for companies specialising in the equipment you require. I'm not a GlobalSpec or CR4 staff member, I use the toolbar and am reasonably happy with it. My only gripe is that it is US biased, but that's understandable (even if it didn't find www.schwer.com, but it came up a #2 on google...)

If that blatant sucking up doesn't get me some recognition from the admins, I don't know what will!!

Failing that, try the company directory sites, such as Kelly's or Applegates, or just google the item! Have you tried Waste Management publications? There must be a trade press for this industry.

Where were you when the news was announced that the UK had become a territory/protectorate of the US? Just slightly below the Dominican Republic.

Instead of composting MSW, how about pureeing it, making a slurry of a consistency between homogenized milk and applesauce? Then feed the slurry and compressed air into a combustion chamber/boiler to make steam (mixed with CO2, N2, etc) for electricity generation. What sort of temperatures and pressures would be required to achieve "wet oxidation" of the organic soup? (The gasseous exhaust should be fed to a greenhouse to feed the plants)

"I need anyone to help me carring out this study. I want to make a complete study about Producing compost by recycling of MSW."

Anyone is no longer here on CR4. He tired of undefined acronyms, i.e. MSW.

"I want to know the exact sequence of the process and equipment used in each."

That is a lot to ask some one to dig up for you unless and until you have exhausted the resources available on the internet. When you have done so state what you have and what additional information you need.

"I want to know no. of each equipment and specifications and companies to supply those equipments. Condider the capacity is 20 tons/day."

When you have done the above research, consult one of the compendiums of manufacturers and suppliers.

Anyone who asks for so much can only expect bits and pieces. Someone has felt pitty and handed you the whole ball of wax and yarn is one link! Be grateful and tell him so. Furthermore: You should register so you will receive notifications of replies to you OP.
