Harmonics

what is the maximum total current harmonics in % can be pumpback to the grid power supply if iam using the power supply it switch @higher than 100 khz but it generate the the harmonics from 3rd (fundematlal frequency-50 hz)up to the switching frequeny

Hi,

You can use IEEE std 519-1992, IEEE Recommended Practices and Requirements for Harmonic Control in Electrical Power Systems. Table 10.3 presents the current distortion limits for general distribution systems (120 V Through 69 000 V).

low pass filter can block some of these.

Power company may well charge you extra for shoving this onto their line

TAKING IN 50Hz And trying to pump back 100Khz?

Do not be a polluter-radiating all over the El Mag spectrum through the grid lines!

Have a low-pass(onto you-) filter through which you draw in50~( and which blocks YOUR pollution)

The 100KHz is no good for man or beast.

Anyway- how many KW OF 100 KHz can you pump out?
