Remote Tap Changer Control Panel

01/09/2008 5:03 AM

Hi,

One of my client is having a 1600KVA transformer in unused condition ( Without supply) for 8 years. Now he wants to charge the transformer after carrying out all tests. The ON-LOAD TAP CHANGER in the transformer is working in the local mode but not working in the remote mode. That is , the RTCC panel functions are not functioning. My client is not having any wiring diagrams.

If any body can help me by sending standard RTCC PANEL WIRING DIAGRAM to my mail ID : durgaswitchgears@yahoo.co.in

Hello r.venkatesan

It is generally regarded as best for the information to be supplied direct from the manufacturer of the Transformer + Tap changer and remote operation unit.

I would ask you to enquire re the make/serial number of the transformer/tap changer/remote units, and contact the respective makers direct.

They are very helpful, because they always hope for further sales to that area or client.

Kind Regards....
