What part of the world do you need them in?

Hi Svijayaraghavan,

To the best of my knowledge, you are unlikely to find this material on the ground anywhere. It will most likely have to be special ordered.

The mills that make this kind of material are:

Labarge - USA

S&T - USA

Berghor - Germany

Eisenbach & Kramer - Germany

EEW - Germany.

I would suggest directing your enquiry to a 'local' pipe stockholder who can source it for you, such as:

Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube
(Singapore) Pte Ltd
4, Pioneer Place, Singapore 627893
Telephone: +65 68979301
Fax: +65 68979318
E-mail: info@vanleeuwen.com.sg

If they cannot get it, they can probably tell you who can.

Good luck!

CS=Carbon Steel OK

Killed -- with Aluminium just before filling Ingots--to avoid gas holes --OK

EFW--EFW - Flat Plate known as Skelp, is prepared in proper width and thickness for the desired pipe inside and outside diameters. It is then charged into an electric furnace and when the proper welding temperature has been reached is drawn through a funnel-shaped die so shaped that the plate is gradually formed into the shape of a tube, with the edges of the plate being forced squarely together and fused. The formed pipe then passes through a series of rolls in which it is sized or drawn to final dimensions. The pipes obtained through this process is called ELECTRIC FUSION WELDED TUBE (EFW NOT POSSIBLE- PLATE π.32"= 110" who makesworldwide?-NOT OK

32" NB - Nominal Bore stops at 8" ~ Above this all are OD Sized.

Looks like a scam of a blog going around since 2004!
