Hi Sailtd555,

Welcome to CR4!

I Googled and came up empty for plastic/poly prisms, so I assume you did an internet search as well. I just got my new Edmund Optics catalogue yesterday, but nothing in there (size or material-of-construction). Sorry I can't help - hopefully someone here knows.

May I ask why you want plastic? Weight issue?

Best Regards,

Mike

Many thanks John, I have e-mailed plasticoptics as their site does not give details about products, but it could be promising, thanks again.

As I recall, a pentaprism was used in the TTL cameras of the 50's and 60's (Through the Lens). One dream camera (for me) was Exacta Varex. Well, it is possible that Karl Zeiss is in the plastic pentaprisms, now. Anyway, a photocamera repair shop sure has one or two...
