Sheet Cutting Software: Looking for Suggestions

I am looking for a software that will configure the best way to cut a sheet or multi sheets of metal or plastic, in different square and/ or rectangular shapes of different dimensions with the minimum possible lost of material.

You may try searching the internet for nesting software, that is what laser cutters use to minimize waste.

Although it wasn't created for metal/plastic, CutList Plus is great at calculating the best way to break down sheet goods. You can set the kerf (waste) depending on your cutting method and can choose from several optimization options.

It's very cost effective and there is a free trial available. Give it a whirl.
