what are turrent machine ? give usual specification related with mechanical engg?

A "Lathe" machine can turn any solid material to produce round articles such as cylindrical shapes, wheel shapes etc:- A "turret" not "turrent" is also a lathe which has a repetitive or semi automatic function for mas production purposes
