The original equipment manufacturer will be able to supply the characteristic curve of this particular pump. It is a matter best addressed by using the telephone.

As PWSLACK says "The original equipment manufacturer will be able to supply the characteristic curve of this particular pump", however, the pump you have may be obsolete or the manufacturer has gone out of business. If you post on this thread the manufacturers name, model etc from the nameplate on the pump I may be able to help to find the information you require. The more detail you supply the more we can try and help.

A reciprocating pump in good condition will have minimal leakage, so if the speed of the pump is kept constant the volume flow will be the same for any given system resistance. The curve will be an almost straight line. If you know the swept volume and the speed you can calculate the volume pumped and draw your own straight line.

Look at this site for some very good information on pumps and systems. http://www.pump-zone.com
