Generator

I will like to known the best motor to be use as a generator to generate a voltage of 24v to charge a batter of 12v, which is to supply 9 bulbs of 12v and a current of 4.6A and with a power of 55w.

This seems a complicated way of doing the job.

Do you not have Mains Power at your place?

Or is this some sort of demonstration rig, to be used at a School?
