Definitely NOT lead-based paints (unless you're the boss of a factory in China, that is.....).

This paint will have to be food rated and come from a list of such paints. Suggest you look at a few similar pieces and see their rating medallion, look it up and ask them.'It will be CSA/UL/DVE for food

Hello Mr. Suds!

Why would you wish to paint inside your juice heaters? Most of the juice heaters are made of stainless steel and will not need to be painted or coated. Unless yours is a special kind. First, we have to ask what kind of heater are you using? PHE, plate heat exchanger or the shell and tube type, or just a plain kettle with steam jacket, maybe.

For safety reasons and compliance to food standards, it is not recommended to paint the inner surface of the heaters. If your heater was painted before, it may be a good decision for your company to get one that is made of stainless steel.

You already have a reply from a reader to go in for SS material. Not a good idea to paint any surface that will handle juices or any edible material.

In rare case, one could have PTFE/PVDF coated surfaces but they will hinder in the heat exchange. Stailess Steel is the logical answer to your question.
