The ratio of the magnetic flux to the current is called the inductance

Capacitance is a measure of the amount of electric charge stored (or separated) for a given electric potential.

Well, ...

Some simple differences: Capacitors store charge and maintain Voltage. Inductors store magnetic fields and maintain current. There is a phase difference (ELI the ICE man) where voltage leads current in an inductor and current leads voltage in a capacitor.
