why we called C S pipe as MS Pipe

Steel without significant no-ferrous content has only(mostly)carbonin Iron--hence Carbon Steel= C.S

Mild Steel is non-technical term for low-priced(no alloys) common market steel-- where you do not go demanding special properties like hardenability,high Tensile,Free-cutting ----.

MS is always C.S. --Actually Low-Carbon (~ 0.08%)Steel
