I want to know the methods used to polish OPTICAL FIBER.

Contact Fiber Instrument Sales (www.fiberinstrumentsales.com). Fiber manufacturers (Owens-Corning, Ensign-Bickford, etc.) also have handbooks. Hewlett Packard published a Fiber Optics Handbook a few years ago and Photonics Spectra magazine published The Photonics Design and Applications Handbook, which is probably still available.
