Wireless CCTV System

02/18/2008 11:20 PM

Dear all,

I would like to know if there some of you who have the experiences on installation of the above system. Among other things that interest me are;

1-System Brand and Technology

2-CCTV performance

3-Good and Bad aspects of the above from the experiences.

Appreciate very much of your feedback.

I am using Swann 2.4 GHz with 4 small colour cameras. For indoor use. The receiver has a timer and can cycle the cameras.

They work sufficient for my application.

They are not really wireless because you have to supply power from battery or wired from a transformer.

I also use black and white wired cameras and for me the result is about the same.

Dear Hendrik,

Thanks for your reply/answer. Appreciate it very much. Well of course it is not a real wireless however in my application the reduction of cable use would give considerable reduction in total cost.

I'm planning to install wireless camera to monitor my perimeter area at the plant boundary. These would cover an area of about 900 square meter.

Please feel free to drop me further info should you have any.

Thanks again.
