Dying 47-Year-Old Professor Gives Exuberant ‘Last Lecture’

02/18/2008 11:37 PM

I was humbled and rethinking my own life as I saw this video.

I'm ready to throw every preconceived notion of how I'm supposed to live out the window.

Just watch...

By the way…we are all dying. Each one of us from the old geezer to the newborn infant. Every 24-hours we become one day closer to our death. This is a great reminder of how fragile life really is.

What we do with our dying days is our only control we have over life. Make sure you give your family a big hug because you never know when your final day will be.

Thank you. He is the epitomy of seizing the day, Carpe Diem!

We can try to live "safely" or we can, as my brother would say, "live without regret."

As our forefathers embodied, you can live "secure" (where the Government takes care of you) or live with "freedom" and choose to face unknown, knowing that our creator has all sovereignty. And your judgement time with him will come; the question will be, " did you glorify him by loving Him and loving others." And, did you know his Son Jesus who sent his Holy Spirit to give you strength through all things. "With God All things are possible". Choose freedom, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. ... the fruits. All else is distraction.

knowing that our creator has all sovereignty. And your judgement time with him yourself will come; the question will be, " did you glorify him by loving Him and loving others." Did you love others And, did you know his Son Jesus who sent his Holy Spirit to give you strength through all things. "With God All things are possible". I've made a few corrections... which maintain the core without the irrational belief.

And, as you are annonymous, I will be too
