Open Source CODE for Isotope Identification

02/19/2008 12:12 AM

Hello Friends

Have you come across useful open source CODE for isotope identification from gamma radiation spectrum using standard detectors?

I will like to test the CODE if made available in C++ for PC.

Is your plan to make high senstivity detectors to search and location of radioactive materials in scrap metal ? or to use Detection of vehicles and speed measurement of vehicles ? You can use (CsI) detectors for it. You can analyze and display the radiation level in counts per minute (cpm).

Thanks
