Well it's either short for "Crackpots Respond 4" or "Conference Room 4".

Given some of the posts perhaps it is "Cannot wRite 4" or "Confused wRiter". No, I think I will go with "Conference Room 4" (it is after all stated on the main homepage of CR4 if you look closely).
