Hi,

do a filtration and a chemical analysis of the contamination to know which material(s) cause the blackening.

Have a look onto any of the components that are in the hydraulic loops: where is any wear or other contamination visible that can be one (may be multiple) reason for the contamination.

If this does not help then isolate any of the components hydaulically and run these with independent new oil supply. You will see rapidly where the wear is coming from.

Good luck and success

Did you clean out the tank? Many times sludge accumulates at the bottom of the tank and after time causes the oil to turn black again.

Hi..

one of the oil contamination is becoz of oxidation. oxidation will occur by having these 4 factors, water, aeration, metal catalyst and heat.this oxidative reactions change the oil's chemical and physical properties such as colour darkening, sludge accumulation and viscosity increment.

So, u should look at your system that can contributes to these 4 factors. hope it will help.
