Magnesium Assembly Solution

Dear readers, did you know about fasteners that can be tapped in magnesium material? I had innovated a fastener called Uni-Mag(TM) which can be tapped in magnesium die casted boss, which currently used in some mobile phones.This eliminates tapping process and have a better joint integrity with low installation torque and high failure torque. Intrested parties are open to discussion on application.

Dear Guest REGISTER if you want to be taken seriously.

That being said there is no such thing as a magnesiums die casting. You may be referring to "Almag," an aluminum-magnesiums alloy. It can be drilled and tapped for conventional thread or have threads integrally made during the casting.

What do you mean by tapping an insert that eliminates the tapping process.

Taken altogether this a poor sales pitch for your product.

A german manufacturer offers since several years already such fasteners.
