High Temp Thermocouple Degradation

06/02/2006 10:01 AM

Does anyone know where I can find information on long-term degradation of high temperature thermocouples (e.g., does the time constant change with age, if so, how?).

Thanks

Contact Omega (omega.com). These guys have been supplying industrial thermocouples forever. If anyone would have such information they should.

Try Watlow. They manufacture thermocouples, not just sell them. If anyone would have such information they should.

Watlow also has a well equipped R&D facility, so it is more likely that they have done this type of testing on their products.

I would e-mail them for quickest response.

Dear Guy We are a supplier to themorocouples, if so, I will send a sample for testing, and we are manufacturing the OEM product for NOUVA FIMA. If possible or you are interesting please email me as I advised below. Best regards, Chase chester_h@enet.com.cn
