Aether Physics Model

06/07/2006 12:20 PM

For someone with a relativity background, the term 'aether' is an enigma - we know that light must have something to propagate in, but then, Einstein's theory abolished the absolute aether. Now there is a new group, the "Quantum AetherDynamics Institute" that offers a theory that (they say) is compatible with modern observations and based on a "dynamic aether".

Be forewarned that the formulators of this theory admit to be "self-educated amateurs interested in quantum physics..." and that the physics community is largely ignoring them. So don't become too exited. Nevertheless, one cannot afford to totally ignore new ideas. Read more in Quantum EatherDynamics and tell us what you think.

Model explains the Fine Structure constant

06/14/2006 9:47 AM

We show that the key numbers in physics, such as the Fine Structure constant, are not just random values, but have an exact value based upon a quantum-scale, dynamic Aether (the Aether unit has a precise value equal to Coulomb's constant times 16pi²). The Aether Physics Model is stunning in that it mathematically predicts and explains the measured values of physics with striking precision. See http://www.quantumaetherdynamics.com for more.
