what are IC Classification or Application in PCB Assembly

chip Classification .

I have never heard of such a thing...

Chips are made in different technologies/families CMOS/TTL etc,
There are different functional families logic, amplifiers, AtoD, memories.
There are different types of packaging DIL QFP SOT BGA

You will need to ask a more specific question

Yeh your right… Thanks for your prompt response! I think I already got the idea from your email. I have to differentiate the Chips by functional families and technologies/families. No need for types of Packaging.

Can you give me additional info about these 2? Hope for your usual support.
