Do these storage units converted to inhabited dwelling units meet any state industrialized/modular building criteria?

Hi techno,

Oh, I know what they are, I was just being kind of a smart aleck. Usually when someone says "these" there is a picture or view of what they are talking about (or at least a more detailed explanation).

But thanks for the link (even though it has pop-ups), and I'd never heard the term "cargotecture" before, but it makes sense.

Have a great day.

Mike

Yeah, I know it is frustrating when you have an unclear question. It is usually based on a false assumption that everyone has experienced what the quester has, and that it is common knowledge. It is usually a sign of someone that is too lazy or impatient to look up references for themselves.

Sorry about the pop-ups, I didn't see any due to my firewall (which is usually more of a pain then a help)

Modified (ship) containers make pretty nice accommodation units.

It may however be prohibited by local law. The best would therefore be to make an enquiry at your local authority.

Zoning laws around here would never allow it.
