Well... I am not an engineer, but, do love this field. Shame on me for be bad student... I am do learning with CR-4 anyway by reading the folks posting in here. BRILLIANT... Alrigth, Going to business now... I do believe there are probably few ways to attain what you will like to see accomplished within having 'Cooling out of Sun Power'. Since, you can transform ligth to electric juice now with specialty "PhotoCells" that are already in use outthere. But, just brainstorming here a little for your question... I have an idea...! To have the refrigerant condensate effect in an ordinary 'Cooling Equipment' you need to elevated the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant going to condenser. So, probably, By having some way to crank up the refrigerant temperature and pressurize into the condenser 'Heat Exchanger' we'll probably can make it happen. But , again, just brainstorming here, the thing will be by a way to have it pressurized into the 'Condenser' or ( 'Heat Exchanger' ) some how. We'll probably have to come out to design like some kind of 'Screw Compressor' move it by an 'Wind Rotor' addapted within a set-up of Gears-Transmission-Clutching-Belts- (What have Ya'-) arrange some how to sustain such compressor rotations at steady state rpm's at an averaging constants so in order to sustain refrigerant flow at constant range or so. I don't know ! It's just a little idea here or imagination, what can I tell ya'. But yes, I do believe it is possible to make some good 'Cooling out of the Sun Power' definetly. But, it will require some labs and hardwares for experimentation until you'll be able to improve and perfect such prototype. I really don't have the resources to attempt it, Unfortunatly... The good part is that you will find out within the folks here at CR-4 some great clues on how to...

Make It Happen...

A black painted metal chimney should create a nice up draught when it is exposed to the Sun.
Allow incomming air to enter the house via cool underground ducts, and exit up the chimney.

No cost ... no moving parts.

Ah, but who will do the digging for those underground ducts? They need to be 4' deep to provide 15C air (60F).

Maybe a small solar furnace. (and copy the gas refrigerator set ups used in RV's)

You can make the reflector mirror track the sun with a tube painted black on the inside and with a light sensor at the bottom. When the sun goes out of sight of the sensor, a clockwork mechanism moves the mirror west until it sees the sun again.

Be warned that the heat refrigerator must be absolutely level or it must be jiggled about. When an RV is parked off level they quit working but as long as you are pulling it down the road they work. Back in the old days when gas refrigerators were common the cure to fix them if they quit working was to turn them upside down!!
