How to avoid junk mails in rediff and gmail pesonal account?

Is it possible to avoid junk mails? If yes Any one could help for avoiding junk mails in my rediff and gmail pesonal account.

The only thing you can realy do is to keep putting the rubbish to the spam directory. Some of the e-mail providers have an analysis service/software that can then block, it is sometimes called 'blocker', the mail for you, AOL, Google, Yahoo etc,.

Find the origin of the junk and send them other junk. Or block them in your firewall.
