OK, now I see what you are saying. Comments get minimized when they are voted as "Off-topic". This happens for one of two reasons. Either the commenter toggles the "Off-topic" box before posting the message (see image below) or the user community votes that a particular comment is off-topic. In the case of your posts Hammamy, your comments were self-selected as off-topic. You probably did so mistakenly.
