I would like to find an analysis instrument for quality control on copper products such as copper cathode or copper wire, what kind of instrument able to proceed accuracy analysis result ?
In order to analyse a metal it either needs to be either melted or dissolved; the test is therefore destructive.
A more viable technique would be to obtain the rolling mill material analysis certificates that accompany the metals, surely?
